The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 15,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

    So the Sydney Opera House is the measure we use for crowds these days, just as the poor cow is a measure of how fast piranha can eat (you never hear anyone say, “those piranha are vicious little gits: they can strip a fully grown aardvark in 8 minutes). I would suggest Pontypool Working Men’s Club would be a better measure, capacity 38. So …
